My lover has come down to his garden, to the beds of spices,
to feed in the gardens and to gather lilies.
I belong to my lover, and my lover belongs to me;
he feeds among the lilies.
-Songs 6:2-3

Weddings are tough, and they require you to move on your feet at a dime, adapt to constant light changes, and an eye for catching beauty in the smallest, often unseen moments. I use film and digital for weddings, reserving film for either portraits and details, or by shooting film myself while my assistant covers me with digital. I like working with brides during the planning process, to ensure that we have good locations, proper lighting, and the logistical needs to actually shoot everywhere the bride wants. I meet with brides beforehand for coffee, and we make a schedule of the big day together, because until you've actually gotten married, or are a wedding vendor, you don't realize just how much extra time you need if you want curated, beautiful photos in the right lighting. I also want to ensure that every bride is 100% satisfied, so both our visions align and are met!
